This Is The End

My next of kin and 5 dirty old men
Well will break every record you got
Cause it's are time to shine right our name in the stars
So you best get out of our way

Well you think your the best
Well the best never rest
So I guess your disqualified now
So don't sip your tea and go chewin out me
Or I'll knock your false teeth right out

My next of kin and 5 dirty old men
Well were going to light up the town
Cause there's no comparing to drinking or swearing
So why do anything else

If I could I'd kick you out
Of this void I call my brain
But I can't can't you see so whoa whoa is me
So I'll just go sip some tea

Well my next of kind and 5 dirty old men
Well we finally reached the end
But before we go were just letting you know that
This is the end of the song

Yeah this is the end, this is the end, This end of the song

Well my next of kin and 5 dirty old men
Well we just pulled a fast one again
Cause you thought it's the end but not really you see
So I guess we'll just sing it again

This is the end, this is the end, This end of the song
Yeah this is the end cause this song has to end
So I gues we won't sing it again

The Radio Song

Wake up in the morning turn on my stereo
Need something to pick me up look to my radio
Roll through all the channels not one thing do I find
Only poor pop excuse of rock n roll divine

No rock n' roll on the radio

The day the music died started out all right
just another day of activity getting set to go
Hey good morning said the radio DJ guy
Then chaos smashed my suprise and I had to turn it off

The Finger

Questions tossed the answer lost
Dropped the ball again
Foolishness is surfacing
And you blame it all on them

You point the finger with a word
Not an action but a thought
If they they burn who will they turn to and ask

Crying out from deep within
Never surface beneath the skin
Request denied a person dead
You've hung up on them again

Screams of silence fill the void
There's nothing to do know
You had your chance and you blew it baby better
Better luck next time

Everybody makes mistakes
It's just a question of reaction
Choices made lessons learned
Only time will tell

Candy

Every girl in the world needs to have a boyfriend
Every girl in the world needs to have a girlfriend
Everybody's looking for something to fill
The void in the middle of the soul so real

Candy and sugar drink so sweet
Looking for anything good to eat

Every boy in the world needs to have a girlfriend
Every girl in the world needs to have a boyfriend
Everybody's looking for something to fill
The void in the middle of the soul so real

Every girl in the world needs to have a girlfriend
Every boy in the world needs to have a boyfriend
We can try any little thing we want
To fill the boy that just won't go away
But until we've looked in the right direction
We'll just continue to runaway

Better Days

You see I've come so very far
But I still have so much further left to go
So now I let you know in advance
This won't be over packaged, under hyped, or sold

Now I've gonna away to yesterdays
Now I've gonna away to better days
Now I've gonna away to saturdays

You see I've walked so many roads
But I still have so much further left to go
So now I look ahead to the future
To dreams of better days just waiting to unfold

You see I've come so very far
But yet I still have so much further left to go
So now I lay myself down to sleep
To dream of times yet not written in the book of time

Fly Away

Dreaming as I’m driving down the road into tomorrow
Star filled landscapes dot the way from yesterday
Thoughts now swirl inside me head reviving dreams long lost
Compulsion drives me to an end as minutes slip away

And now I pray let me fly away
To the place where everybody knows my name

Lost as I fall into a perfectual oblivion
Only to be waken by electric energy
Save my self from waist with my trusty little pen
If only I could put it down and pick it up again

Hating times of happiness and planting for the future
Burn the piece of paper just make it go away
Imagining the better days still seems so far to go
Priorities a virtue I so much need to know

It's Ok

Well as the story goes
I got up at 6 am
Started up the road
And then turned back again
By the time we got to our hotel
It was 7:30 at the night
13 hrs on the trail
with no food insight

It’s time to go to bed
But there’s no where to lay my head
Time’s playing tricks on me
I think I’ve seen this on TV

Next we got into a taxi
And started up the road
7 people in a 70 Datsun
Just 3 hr’s to go
Well we stop to drink some chi
Now our taxi drivers high
First run out of oil
And then run out of gas

3 Hr rides getting longer and longer
Our car breaks down over and over again
Fall a sleep by the side of the road
Now our drivers drunk
5 minutes from the hotel
A 45 minute ride
By the time we got to the hotel
It’s more the morning than the night

Audible Signs of a Visibly Drunken Man

It’s only 10 am
but he’s already at it again
Wondering down the road to no end
And the bottle once again
Well he sits in the ally alone
It’s the place he call’s his home
Watching the better people go by
Again and again

He’s showing audible signs of a visibly drunken man

One day I looked a little deeper
And found 2 college degree’s
His stories one for the ages and pages
It just ended far too soon
He had everything in life
With a 2 kid’s and a wife
A 2 comma job on his way to the top
And in a day it all went away

What does he know
Now he’d doesn’t have much to show
Just a ten-cent shirt on his back called a rag
And a back pack full of pain
Ask him a question He’ll know the answer
Ask him for help he’ll always be there
He doesn’t have much to for friendship you see
But his looking to you and me

Loser Of The Day

Johnny was a loser from the start
At least that’s what they thought was in his heart
You see he’s nice to all the kids and the girls think he’s cute
But there’s just that thing about him that makes you want to puke
You see every single day he bow his head to pray
And he becomes the loser of the day

You see everyday at lunch the teacher thinks it’s cool
To make fun of Johnny and to paint him as a fool
Because there’s no discrimination No bigotry in school
But because of Johnny’s faith he has to play the fool
That’s why Johnny’s is the loser of the day

Now Johnny really hurting but he’s being really brave
He’s standing up for truth now matter what they say
He’s still loving his brother and the funny things they do
And even if you punch him he won’t get mad at
But you see Johnny’s still the loser of the day

Bad Tan Lines

Murder’n people like a drunken pope
Kill’n people in the name of the Lord
Move out of my way because I’m better than you
And only I know what to do
Jesus saves is what he raves
The only way to a better life
May be if you wouldn’t of been born so rich
You’d really really know what that means

From what I’ve read in the good old book
God doesn’t love us for the way we look
Only by salvation through His Son
Can we enter into the kingdom come

Stockbroker super star on candy bars
Looking for something else to fill the void
He’s tried pretty women money and fame
He’s even played a little bit of the drug game
Well the more he searches the less he finds
All he’s got to show is some bad tan lines
Pretty vacations in paradise
Turn out to be another failed device

Little Timmy killed at 2
On his way home from school
The popular kids are who did him in
No matter how hard he tried he couldn’t be cool
No his mother feels destroyed
She sits in his room and stairs at his toys
She finds a bottle of whisky around
And for the next 5 months she lights up the town
